Egor
ADOPTED TO HIS FOREVER HOME
Egor, aka Serena’s Egor, is a 1½-year-old dark brindle male born April 24, 2007. His sire is Lonesome Cry, making his grand sire the famous Gable Dodge, and his dam is Smart Serena, making his grand sire the famous Molotov. This makes Egor half sibling to Serena and Wizard. Egor has no races on his record, and instead is ready for a long life of fun and relaxation! He is a smaller boy with very striking brindle markings. Egor is not cat or small animal tolerant.
From Egor’s foster mom:
Egor is a stunning boy (the pictures don't do him justice!) who has been my most well-behaved foster. You wouldn't expect it from a pup his age, but he's a 2-year-old with a calm, loving personality. The best description for Egor is a "Love Bug," as he's most comfortable being with his humans and letting them dote on him. He still knows how to have a good time with his foster siblings though, one of which is a puppy who uses Egor as a scratching post. He shares the toys, plays gently with the others and he's not an alpha dog, as he waits to be one of the last ones out the door to the backyard. But don't get me wrong...he's definitely not shy. He will get in the middle of the bunch when it's time for treats or dinner!
Egor is a very smart boy and aims to please. He learned how to "lay down" for his dinner very soon after he arrived. And he taught himself how to "sit" by watching his foster siblings! He's great on the leash, and he's a regular out in public. We have taken him to many "dogs allowed" restaurants and coffee shops - he loves the attention he gets!
Egor will do well in a house with other large breed dogs (like where he is now), but he's not suited for cats or small animals. He's also been around kids of all ages, so I think he would be a fine addition to a family. He would also be fine as a single dog as long as you give him plenty of attention so he doesn't get lonely!
Egor is really easy to please and he's a fabulous houseguest. He's a gorgeous boy, a snuggler and he will make the perfect pet for a wonderful family.
