Serena

ADOPTED TO HER FOREVER HOME!

Update: 2/15/08

Serena, aka Serena's Nymph, is a beautiful, 3½-year-old white and red female born June 3, 2004. Her sire is Kiowa Sweet Trey and her dam is Smart Serena, making her grand sire Molotov. Serena is sister to Wizard, who suffered a severe break on November 5, 2007, requiring amputation of his right leg. Serena's career at the track consists of 76 races, starting March 4, 2006, at Valley Race Park in Harlingen, moving to Iowa, back to VRP and back to Iowa. Serena was at Valley Race Park for the third season when she suffered a torn ACL in Sunday, November 25, 2007. She, along with Chase and Gigi, was brought to Dallas by greyhound and GALT volunteers on Tuesday. Dr. Jeff Ellis evaluated her the next day, and she is scheduled for surgery with Dr. Bob Radash of the Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center on Monday, December 3. This injury is the first GALT has seen in the greyhounds taken into its family. An update will be posted after the procedure. Please keep Serena in your thoughts.

See Greyhound-Data.com for Pedigree.
