Chewy, aka Cee Bar Chewy, is a handsome 5-year-old brindle male, born November 27, 1997, and is best described as a friendly boy with a big heart. His sire was Fortress, the infamous Irish racer, and his grand sire on his dam's side was HB's Commander. Chewy lived up to expectations and was a Grade A racer. His career started in March 1999 and ended in December 2001, where he was always a favorite at the kennel. He lived in a foster home with a small dog, cats and a bird, and seemed to get along well with them all. Chewy was originally adopted out through Pioneer City Friends of Greyhounds in Ohio, but what was thought to be his forever home was not to be. We plan to remedy that, and make this boy a true Texan and find his true forever home.
