BeeBee, aka Slatex Honey Bee, is a 3-year-old brindle female born May 11, 2011. Bart's E Mail and her dam is Slatex Disco. BeeBee has 43 races on record with Greyhound-data.com, all maiden grade races at Gulf Greyhound Park in Texas. She started racing on December 2, 2012 and finished on July 19, 2013. BeeBee was in a home for 9 months, but has returned to GALT to resume her forever home search.
BeeBee passed an initial cat test, but needs to spend more time with them in a foster home to be sure.

BeeBee is such a sweet girl! She is very shy and tends to warm up to women faster than men (adults and children). Once she knows that you are okay, she is super excited to see you but never jumps on you. You can almost see that she is holding herself back from jumping up on you. Her house manners are impeccable though she does like to counter surf which is a good trick for this petite girl. She walks so well on a lead that I would swear she's had some training. She stays with you, stops when you stop, walks when you walk and always waits for you to walk through the door first. She likes to sleep in her crate but we have stopped closing it at night because she is so well behaved. Her crate is right next to our other greyhound's crate. They are so good together. They do have separate food and water bowls and they never fuss over food or territory. She is not allowed on the furniture in her foster home and she is perfectly fine with that. There are lots of beds on the floor to keep her comfy. I am sure she will find her forever home very quickly.
