Nicole is one of 9 greyhounds GALT received from a Fort Worth Animal Control cruelty case. She is a tiny, 2-year-old (her age is estimated) fawn female who arrived at GALT weighing 35 pounds. She was successfully treated for tick-borne diseases and a huge load of intestinal parasites by Dr. Christy Soileau of VCA Preston Park Animal Hospital. After extensive treatment, Nicole has tested PCR (polymerase chain reaction) negative to all tick borne diseases. She is also heartworm negative at this time. As a result she has completed all of her medical procedures and is ready to find her forever home! Previous pictures of Nicole can be found here.
It is not known at this time if Nicoile is small animal or cat tolerant.
