Greyt Fall Gathering

What a blast everyone had at the First Annual Greyt Fall Gathering at Chateau de Sparky on October 4, 2003! Mark and Becki Denetz and the Galgo, Sparky, and his Whippet buddies, Toby and Eddie, were hosts at their home in McKinney to the numerous greyhounds and their people for hotdogs and hamburgers and other goodies, including, of course, treats for the hounds. The weather was a little warm for October, but at least it did not rain. Everyone enjoyed relaxing, socializing and eating.

The best part for the greyhounds was that they were able to run unleashed in the spacious yard with all their greyhound buddies. They enjoyed participating in the contests and were partial to the toys they won as prizes.

The GALT raffle and live auction helped raise additional funds for GALT's projects. The raffle and auction winners were:

Whew! All the hounds were tired and ready for a nap in the car on the way home but already looking forward to next year's fun. Hope to see everyone next year.
